Last year, Betsy was treasurer of the Upper Peninsula Future Nurses' Club. Betsy came to L'Anse High as a sophomore in 1962, transferring from Holy Family Academy, of Manitowoc, Wis. Their loss was our gain for whatever Betsy has taken upon herself to do, the results have been gratifying. This is particularly true of the 1964 Hornet. Betsy has spent many hours in the planning and organization of the work involved. She is deserving of the credit. P. K. Ward, Principal, and Staff Adviser Jerry DeMotts The Man Behind the Scenes The Student Council wishes to thank Jerry De- Motts for all of the help he has given us. With- out his time, excellent work, and patience, the production of this yearbook would not have been possible. 74 Betsy Deschaine, Editor AUTOGRAPHS AUTOGRAPHS
