Christmas County-Style Christmas time at County has always been traditionally a big event at the Nurs- ing School. The residents of each floor of Muir Hall participate in the decora- tion of their respective floor lobbies, competition becomes heavy to see who can come up with the most creative, original display. After the residents choose a theme, many hours and many talents are often invested to perfect a pleasing Christmas exhibit. Several days before Christmas vacation, Residence Board sponsors a Christmas party where prizes are awarded to the floor who, in the opinion of the judges, has done the finest job in decorating. The windows in the downstairs lobby are adorned with Christmas paint, the main lobby tree is decorated and refreshments are served to make the annual party a cheery event.
