M Our School Celebrates a Birthday On Saturday, November 7, 1970, the Los Angeles County School of Nursing celebrated its 75th anniversary, marking 75 years the school has functioned in the training of registered nurses. Fac- ulty, students, alumni and members of the hospital administra- tion gathered together for the day to commemorate the Di- amond Jubilee. , Tours of the hospital and Muir Hall were conducted by student nurses. The library and various rooms in the student's residence featured displays and films. An afternoon program was planned for the day, highlighted by a series of short skits called This is Your Life, in which student nurses, garbed in uniforms of each era, portrayed the life of the student nurse from 1895- 197O.
