Eight THE NEW HOSPITAL Chisel in hand, stood the Celestial sculptor 1 With his marble block before him, And his eyes lit up with a smile of joy, As an angel dream passed o'er him. He carved the dream on that shapeless hulk With many a sharp incision. With Heaven's own light the structure shone. It hadcaught the angel's vision. Far in the night, the lights shone out, The beacon glowed and gleamed. The Temple of Healing completed- The Carcassonne of our dreams. Arranged by INEZ LUCILE MILLER. Excavating begun dpril 1, 1927. Cornerstone laid December 7, 1930 by Mary Piclzford. First illuminated on the night of February 16, 1933. Opened December 12, 1933-fllaternity Ward. Surgery opened December 27, 1933.
