Item I. We, the Class of 1957, being of sound mind and body, and of extremely generous nature, do herel bequeath and give to the incumbent Class of 1958 our new s e nio r homeroom fwhich we initiated this yea: all the lockers vacated by seniors and all contents of said lockers fsuch as broken erasers, pencils, gu: and candy wrappers, and old notesj, In addition, we leave to the Class of 1958 all the money that is left ova after our Senior Trip to New Orleans. To the new Senior boys, the thrill of being the most sought-after boy friends--by the Freshman girls. Item II. Tothe incumbent Junior Class we leave one of our most treasured possessions--our ability to mal money for a good cause. We would like to add that this is a very valuable ability and should be used wisely- as some classes are not so gifted. Item III. To the incumbent Sophomores we leave only three more years of school-to enjoy or not-as the c a s may be. Item IV. To the new F r e shmen, we leave only two things--gay good-byes and a friendly word of advicl everybody has to be a lowly freshman before he can become an honored senior. Item V. All of the rest and residue of our estate is left as follows: Charlotte Bales leaves her position on the volleyball and basketball teams to Bobbie Jones. In addition sl leaves the pleasure of spending the first period every morning in the company of Mr. Frazier in the scho court room to Louise Lancaster. Roger Galan bequeaths to Lois Franke his silly giggle, on the condition that she uses it as often as he dim He leaves his ability to flirt to Dolores Schmeltekopf. Bettylg Busse leaves her undying inte r e st in books, magazines, and all other printed matter to Dorotl Wittenburg. Donnie Echols wills his ability to blow bubbles on the basketball court, make buddies with the referees, ar smile when he makes a foul to Louann Lancaster. He also leaves to Carvel Brooks his latest kat haircu gy Schmeltekopf leaves his job as manager to Coach Johnson until a qualified substitute canbe found to tal his place. Julia Mendez leaves all her tardy and absentee slips to Mr. Garnett F raz i e r on the condition that he use same to start next year's Homecoming bonfire. Carmen Schulle leaves her absent-minded, scatterbrained personality fwhich she plans to outgrow after sl marriesl to Mrs. Frazier to dispose of as she sees fit. Charles Schmeltekopf bequeaths his quietness and love of school to Wendell Tyler. In addition he leaves hz job as candy boy to Pete Dressen. Gaytha Schulle leaves her A's in Readin', 'Ritin', and 'Rithmetic to Charlene LaBlack. Ez- Tenorio wills his ability to successfully talk his way out of anything and everything to Julia Bauder. Janet Nance bequeaths the headaches of the Panther to Frances Strawn, LEE Stuenkel leaves his Cassanova appeal to women to Rex Wiegand, Irma Lopez bequeaths her temper and her ability to mambo to Suzie Mendez. John Osgood leaves his Valentino appeal to Women to Billy Dees. Schmeltekopf leaves his ability in all sports to H. J. Schnautz and all other talents, which are many, Mills Cox. Blasita Selbera leaves another length of ponytail and her eternal silence to Jerilyne Busse. Jackie Zerr bequeaths her freckles to Patsy Sites and her love for sleep to Tommy Allen. Ethel Wittenburg leaves her cheerleader's position and her sweet smile to Mary Holmes Dudley. John Osgood and'Lee Stuenkel bequeath their Monday morning conferences about the week-end before to Pe Dressen and Tommy Allen. Julia Mendez, Ethel Wittenburg, Jackie Zerr, and Carmen Schulle leave their luck in finding and catching tl right man to the Exotics.
