Although the mid-October weather was chilling, the spirit of the fans was NOTg for this was the time for North Gallia to Stomp the Little Green men. qBut, alas! It Was A Beautiful Nlfivening ln Parisf' l Lovely girls and handsome boys strolled un- der the street lights on Paris boulevards past a sparkling water fountain to stop for rest and refreshment at the colorful street cafes. It was the night of the Junior-Senior Prom - the night when the Classes of '71 and '72 danced in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower to the music of the ACT IV Band playing in a corner of a Paris park. The Queen of the Prom was pretty, petite Trudy Henry who was escorted by her tall and handsome fiancef Donald Borden, Other mem- bers of her court were Merle Hopkins and her escort Roger Pelfrey, and Melody Griffith and her escort Gary Crosswhite. Trudy IS Crowned lt w as a delightful thrilling moment Lor Trudy when she was crowned Queen of the Junior- Senior Prom by her school superintendent, Mr, David Campbell. Pat Burger and Bob Ratliff share-a pleasant moment and express the joy of the evening that was typical of so many young couples. The beautiful prom was planned by Harvey Brown, Susie Robinson, Mary Riedel, Becky Wellington, Cora Peck, and Brenda Logan. Chaperones were Mr. and Mrs, David Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Wilson, Mr. James Burleson, Mr. Arthur Nibert, Mr. Gerald Pope. A number of other teachers and parents were guests.
