Class President’s Message It is will» a great deal of joy and perhaps some apprehension that we find ourselves in these, the closing days of our preparation for teaching. These days are indeed significant ones, for, not only do they terminate a phase of our lives, hut also do they open an entirely new one to »»s. If we do find ourselves just a trifle apprehensive, it is justly so. Our chosen career of teaching is not one to Ik- taken lightly. A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops.” These words, spoken by Henry Brooks Adams, remind us of the vital role we are to play in structuring young minds to meet the tre- mendous tasks in a world which becomes more challenging by the minute. I lowever, 1 am certain that the multitudinous rewards which we will receive from our pro- fession will quickly dispel any thoughts of un- certainty that we may have in this, the fledgling stage of our careers.
