The Sophomore Class September, 1959 marked the beginning of the second year for the Sophomore Class. It marked, too, a new sense of class unity; not one of necessity but one of free choice. This sense of unity expressed itself in the spirit of cooperation which character- ized the building of the class float and the preparations for the class-sponsored St. Valentine Dance. The Sophomores were now in a position to salve some of the wounds they had suf- fered the year before. This feeling was tempered by a genuine desire to see this years' Freshman Class as integrated a part of the college as the Sophomores had become. President ...................................
