AN TH KS: CHARLES AN GSTADT This year, we have dedicated our yearbook to a man who has given many things to this school. Since 1952, when he was hired to teach history and physics until 1978 when he took a sabbatical leave, Mr. Charles Angstadt has been involved in many things. He served as Senior Class Advisor, Science and Photography Club Advisor and as Parliamentarian. Prior to his teaching career, Mr. Angstadt at- tended Kutztown State College. Later he re- ceived his Masters Degree from Lehigh Universi- ty. He now enjoys finishing antiques in his spare time. Mr. Angstadt is not only a teacher. He is knowledgeable in many different aspects of life. Through his various philosophies and unique ways of applying physics, he made his students think. He was a dedicated teacher, interested in the student as a person. His students knew that, and held him in deep respect. Although Mr. Angstadt is very independent and says what he thinks, he is a great teacher for all age groups, and by all means a teacher who stands among the best. Mr. Angstadt leads an active and interesting retirement along with his wife, Irma. Mr. Sngstadt is seen here seated in a Chippendale chair which he built himself. Beside him stands a tilt top table which he also constructed. Mr. Angstadt's hobby is refinishing antiques for himself and other people as well. X N
