cibechcafion We, the seniors of 1958, dedicate this-our yearbook-to those who have endeavored to provide us with a proper basic education so vital today, our parents. They deserve our praise and respect. The unseen hand of their advice has guided us on the correct path to the threshold of adult lifeg but here their guidance does not cease. For the hand is always out-stretched to direct our minds, beyond mere learning. Their actions have set the example of how we should use our knowledge. Our parents' influence is the foundation upon which we can rely in trouble and need. It is therefore most fitting for us to dedicate this book, which depicts our senior year achievements, to our parents for their tireless efforts in making our senior year a success.

A Message to the Class of 1958: W You are the first to graduate since the space age was ushered in through the launching of man-made satellites. This age will most certainly provide unexcelled challenges and opportunities for the educated person. It also implies the development and accept- ance of changes in mankind's way of life. The knowledge gained in high school will be fundamental to a successful life in this new f'space age. In spite of many changes that will take place in your life-time, I hope you will remain adamant in maintaining certain fundamental principles as unalterable. Among these I would have you place love of God and the necessity of Divine Guidanceg truthg integrity? justiceg family and home first 5 democratic philosophy which holds that the dignity and worth of the individual is paramount, and that governmental insti- tutions are instigated among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. - My sincere congratulations and personal good wishes go with each of you. May you find success and happiness in life. My expectations for each of you are great as you move forward to ever new and widening horizons. Your progress in life will always be my concern. Quad QQ!
