Pres1dent B111 McIntosh V1ce Pres1dent Jamce Eberly Secretary Naom1 Day reasurer Barbara Mxller News Reporters Calvm Kunkle Dorls Stemer CLASS MOTTO There lS beauty 1n l1fe 1f you look for 1t COLORS FLOWER S1lver St Maroon Amerlcan Beauty Rose Jumor Class Offlcers CLASS HISTORY In September the Jun1ors of 1953 held the1r electlons for class offlcers and determlned the amount of the dues to be pam for the year Also a general outllne was made for the act1v1t1es planned for the yea In October our Tumors sponsored a hayr1de and 1n the same month were responslble for a skatmg party held at the Bryan roller r1nk Then, on October 17th, they presented the1r class play, No Boys Allowed a product of a month's hard work of preparatlon and long rehearsals. Our frlends have been kept pretty busy selllng candy all year long durmg the noon hours here at school, and operatmg the concess1on stands at the ball games. Another successful project of the Jun1ors has been to sell pennant plns to be worn on blouses, coats, and lapels. The pms made a b1g h1t as most of the students wore them to the ball games. The blggest event of the year for the hard work1ng Jun1ors was pre par1ng and select1ng commlttees for the Jumor Senlor Banquet. Each commlttee worked d111gently to make the event a success. The Jun1ors have certalnly been busy l1tt1e beavers through the previous year and we all agree they have done a wonderful Job of handlmg thlngs. The Sophomore Class Rlngs were ordered for a Sprlng dellvery, They feel pretty lmportant about ordermg them too.
