-+- As The Curtain Opens -+- T E eeeee GX Oi kip it K Q Q ii famous chef, JOE AVELLINO, which was under the careful supervision of two well-known cat- erers, GLORIA WAGNER and ELIZABETH MIRARCHI. After lunch we visited the famous night club of CHARLES BEDNARCZYK and WILLIAM EDMONDSON and saw two Marines, LEO SNARSKI and LEONARD HUXTA, talking to the stars of the show. The Master of Ceremonies, BILLIE COSSARI, tells us that the show is about to commence and he introduces the brilliant singing duo of ROSE MARIE VENTILLI and ELEANOR POSCA, who head the review of stars. Their performance is greeted by tremendous applause and now into the limelight skates the new skating sensation, ROSE ANN GONZALES. The show is brought to a close with a startling dagger throwing act performed by EDWARD ZARKOSKI and his fearless assistant, MARIE MELNICK. A surprising additional feature is the fashion show under the direction of JOSEPH IDIORI ZLOCKI which brings forth some of the most famous models, RITA SINSHACK, HELEN WATRAL and AGNES KROVITSKI, wear- ing gowns of a stunning nature. Showing what the best dressed men of 64 will be wearing are MICHAEL APICHELLA, TONY BRESSI and STANLEY METRO. As we are making our exit, we glance into the cocktail lounge and see MYRON GILL, LEONARD GOLDA and DANIEL SIMCHOCK, discussing the forthcoming campaign of RAY LITMIN for Mayor of Planet X. Two well-known baseball coaches, ANGELO and WILLIAM FEUDALE, also join in the conference. We are then handed our chapeaus by the well-liked hat-check girls, THERESA BINDOS and KITTY NESTICO. We enter the SmithilIac and turn on the Vicdeo, a new type radio invented by VIC- TOR MIRARCHI. A twist of the dial tunes in our favorite disc-jockey, JOHN BAKSI. As we listen to the top songs of 64, the program is interrupted for a news flash reported by ace commentator, JOHN POPONIAK, and we learn that the Comets, a football team coached by GEORGE WILLIAMS, has won the Meteor Bowl Game. The rest of the ride was uninterrupted and we arrived at the gym to watch the girls' Championship Basketball Game. Greeting us with a handful of tickets was MARIE DOOLEY. We entered the gymnasium in time to hear the announcer, MICHAEL VOLOSHIN, giving the starting line up. Two of our former classmates, JEAN ARDEN and ROSE KOVACH, are the seasor1's high scorers on the challenging team. Preceding the game, referee, JOE PODCHAYSKI, gives captains, JEANETTE PROCOPIO and JOANIE WARHOLIC, their final instructions. The game terminated in a victory for the chall- engers, which highly pleased their coach, RITA DULSKI. Our iourney being at an end, we board our jet and begin our return trip. It is then that we see the first women Space Patrollers, BARBARA WISHNESKI, MARTHA LASKOSKI and JEANETTE WHITE, checking to see that everything is secure. We ve traveled now from plane to place And have seen many a familiar face We've had fum we ve enjoyed it a lot So let's make a landingg our fuel is now shot N by Polly Polinko Jean Lazarski PAGE TWENTY ONE
