Kulpmont Area Joint School District The Kulpmont Area Joint School District came into being during the present i952-i953 school term, two years after the Kulpmont Borough School System was reorganized on the six-six plan with the Roosevelt High School becoming a Junior-Senior High School, Since l937 only the High School students of Marion Heights Borough attended the Roosevelt High School on a tuition basis. Now their Seventh and Eighth grade students attend the Roose- velt Junior-Senior High School and receive additional educational advantages such as Shop and Home Economics. The Kulpmont area schools enroll 262 grade school children in the Stevens and Wilson Elementary schools and 41 l students attend the Junior-Senior High School. The Joint School District is managed by a Board of Education composed of all the School Directors of Marion Heights and Kulpmont Borough.
