eachfz 71' ln the fall of 1955 there entered into Kremlin High School nine mighty Freshmen. They were Jackie Bullman, Roxie Wright, Shari McLain, Anna Mae Odewaldt, Bonnie Pollington, Earl Donoven. Glen Reese, Raymond Ordway, and Terry Roberts. During this year Earl, Glen, Raymond, and Terry joined the Foxes' basketball team. Early in the second semester we lost two of our classmates, Raymond Ordway and Anna Mae Odewaldt. On April 20, 1956, the high school play was held, 'THE CURSE OF AN ACHING HEART, in which all the Freshmen girls participated. Next we entered into our Sophomore year in the fall of 1956 with Fred Davidson joining us in the second semester. That year Jackie and Roxie were elected cheerleaders and Earl joined the A Squad. The boys also joined the football squad that year. In the spring a track team was started, in which all the boys participated. They later at- tended the annual track meet in Great Falls. We all took part in the play, HII..LBILLY WEDDIN', which was enjoyed by all, Then came our Junior year in the fall of 1957. That year the remaining boys joined the Foxes' A Squad and Jackie and Roxie were again elected cheerleaders. One of our classmates, Terry Roberts, was married in the spring of 1958. The play we pre- sented that year was STRANGER IN THE NIGHT. It was given on April 20. All the Juniors were happy to have been a part of it. On April 26, the Juniors honored the Sen- iors with the Junior-Senior Prom. The theme was SAIL ALONG SILV'RY MOON and the gym was decorated with blue and white crepe paper. The climax of our high school years came in the fall of 1958 when we were Seniors. The boys were still with the Foxes' and football, except for Terry, and Roxie and Jackie were elected cheerleaders for the third time. Roxie later dropped out and Shari was elected in her place. On April 18 of this year we held our last play, GRA NDAD GOES WILD. All the Seniors were in the play again and enjoyed playing their roles. We Seniors got a little restless after so many years of school so we decided to go on a sneak trip. We left April 24 at 7:00 a. m. and toured the Southem and Western parts of Mon- tana. Our first stop was Helena, Montana. There we saw the Charles Russell Art Museum and the Capitol Building. About 4:00 the same day we reached Virginia City. The older part of town was closed, but a good time was had by all. That night we stayed in Butte, after a little difficulty of finding a place to stay. The next day every- one was up bright and early at 6:00 all ready to travel some more. We ate breakfast and started towards Missoula. Along the way we stopped at the Warm Springs Mental Institution, the Galen Sanitarium, and the State Penitentiary at Deer Lodge. While the girls went through the Galen Sanitarium, the boys went to Anaconda to see the smelter. That night we stayed in Missoula and took in a show. Our last moming we decided to go to Flathead Lake and around the edge of Glacier Park. We also stopped and saw Hungry Horse Dam. We reached home Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 p. rn. Our chaperones were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kolczak and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Donoven. The next oc- currence was the Junior-Senior Prom and Banquet held May 9 in honor of the Seniors. Last but not least were the biggest events of all, Baccalaureate and Commencement. This ended our four long, but happy, years of ,high school. Now we shall go out to face the world with the powers of knowledge that we have thus far attained.
