' Qfdotofaq In the fall of '54, Kremlin High welcomed four new freshmen into class. They were Fred Bullman, Lois Melby, Diana Johnson, and Beverly Trulson. During this year Diana, Lois, and Bev were elected cheerleaders and Fred joined the Foxes' Basketball Squad. We took first place in the District 11 Tournament. We then went on to the Divisional Tournament in Havre and took third place. We held our High School Play, Aaron Slick from Punkin Chick and we all partic- ipated in that. Next came our Sophomore year which went much slower than the previous year. We three girls were again elected cheerleaders and Fred Bullman played basketball and joined the track team. We also put on another play, 'The Curse of an Aching Heart, which we all took part in. In the fall of '56 we began our Junior year. We were sorry to lose one of our classmates, Lois Melby, but we also gained Deanna Beaman who joined us in the beginning of the year. Fred again joined the A Squad in Basketball and Football. Diana, Deanna, and Bev were Football Cheerleaders and we held another play, Hillbilly Weddin'. Toward the end of the year, we held our Spring Junior Prom. At the start of our Senior year, Jerry Murdoff joined the class. The Juniors and Seniors sponsored the class play this year which was a Mystery-Comedy named, Stranger in the Night. On April 26, we were honored by a prom sponsored by the Juniors. The four of us left May 9 for our Sneak Trip and toured the Southwest part of Mon- tana. We journeyed through Helena, Butte, and some other larger cities. A couple more interesting points we viewed were Frontier Town, the State Capitol, the Mental Hospital at Warm Springs, and the State Penitentiary at Deer Lodge. We also went to Glacier Park and Flathead Lake. We took Mr. and Mrs. Charles Schend with us as our chaperones. We left May 9 at 6:00 a.m. and returned the llth after a very enjoyable trip. Then followed our Baccalaureate and Commencement Services that wound up our years it good ole K. H. S. Now we will go out on our own in this great world of ours to seek our fortunes.
