SOPHOMORE CLASS Presxdent Evelyn Johnson V1ce Presxdent Gene R1ckabaugh Secretary and Treasurer Jacob Barkman Reporter Lo1s Edwards Class Parents Mr and Mrs J Rlckabaugh The fxrst of September brought the fourteen flashxng faces of our Sophomore class wh1ch xncludes our offxcers and Mary Ann Zaloudek Avxs Dxckman Dorxs Lee Seapy Jack Rlckabaugh Robert Schroeder Vlfgll Breckenrxdge Johnny B111 Rlchey Johnme Regler Lendoll Bagshaw and Robert Hayes The weather was just f1ne for baseball and softball The members of our class who helped the teams were Mary Ann Dorxs Lee Avxs Loxs Gene Jack Bobby V1rg11 Lendoll and Johnny The next event was the school carmval We helped run d1fferent stands throughout the evemng The ma1n event was the crowmng of the Carmval Queen We selected Mary Ann Zaloudek as our candxdate Through the steady support of our members and other means we put our cand1date over the goal as Queen and contrlbuted S171 50 to the carmval fund For wmmng the contest we were awarded a free trxp for one day w1th expenses pald to any point ln Oklahoma We voted to take a tour of Tulsa and to v1s1t the W1ll Rogers Memorlal at Claremore Basketball soon was underway and the members of our class wh1ch helped make xt successful were Avxs Dorxs Lo1s Mary Ann Jack Gene Bobby and Vxrgll Gene Rlckabaugh was chosen as forward on the all Skeltur Confex ence Team The Sophomore s scholastlc record for thxs year was a B average Our attendance lb the hxghest mn hxgh school There fore, we consider our class, the most outstandmg class nn school.
