SENIOR CLASS Pres1dent Louis Janzen V1ce Presxdent Joy Faye Guffey Secretary and Treasurer B1111e R1ggs Reporter Bertha Thesman Class Parents Mr and Mrs Ben Guffey The Sen1or Class started out the year w1th ten members ln addxtxon to the offxcers Helen Kroeker, Dorls Mlller De1or1s M1ller, Franklin Janzen Ralph Burcham, and Floren Johnson make up the rest of the class We 1n1t1ated the Freshmen 1n September After makmg them wear funny costumes all day we gave a skatlng party 1n the1r honor that rught at Lake Hellums A watermelon feast followed The Semors sponsored a box supper and collected some scrape metal to ra1se money for the Carmval Queen Our cand1date was Delorxs Mlller Our class also had charge of the basketball throw and con cesslon stand at the carnlval At Chrxstmas we drew names and had a Chrmstmas party at the home of Mrs Pmegar The evenmg was spent play1ng games after wh1ch refreshments were served and the gxfts were exchanged All of the Sen1or g1rls are 1n Mrs Pmegar s shorthand class Those 1n the Sen1or Class rece1v1ng honor roll pms were Dons Mrller Lou1s Janzen and Delorxs M1ller Helen Kroeker was accompamst for the musmc department and was awarded the music medal for the f1rst semester We ra1sed money for our Sen1or tr1p by operatmg the concess1on stand at all the basketball games Sprlng Fever was the play presented by the Sen1ors Now w1th Sprmg here we hope we can avo1d Sprxng Fever LOUIS Janzen Franklm Janzen and Ralph Burcham were star perform ers on the baseball and basketball teams Ralph Burcham was named on the all star Skeltur Conference team Ralph Burcham, Franklm, Joy Faye Guffey and Bertha Ann Thesman were chosen on the all star team of the Eastern Basketball Distnct of our conference Delorls Mlller 7 Sponsor............ .
