PEPPY, STIRRING, BEAUTIFUL MUSIC! Below is shown our concert band, consisting of seventy members. Every player puts music first and all have worked with our new director, Mr. Johnson, to build up a band of which we are all proud. The concert band presented its first concert to an extremely large and appreciative audience on Jan. 23 in the Kramer High auditorim. Featured sections were the trumpet trio, the flute quartette and the drum major and majorettes, but the whole band made a splendid impression. They were entered by Mr. Johnson in the district contest. During the football season the marching band was active. lt played at all home games and showed various formations on the field between halves. At Schuyler on Armistice Day it showed its parade skill at the Schuyler-Columbus game. The marching band consisted of fifty-four mem- bers The pep band took over for the basketball season playing march time, rag time, stop time and old time tunes It consisted of twenty two members and occupied a reserved section at all honie games Standing D Buxley M Schmid N Iusche Mr Johnson D Rom 3 R Niclsan A Nlam R Biadlex D Bushnell R Muel C G1 C Bl E G B B1 ler D Jeldcn B Kuklish J Gan xlield B Carlson C Steward D Green E 'llirll aser ass ' ner Fleming H Rothleitn r J Smith D Mlinar C Mu ller R 4 S t d I Tll D Miller J Rogers C Trofholz N mann Owwelclgag Rodehosgt N Smith P Bradley A Egger B Ron 2 J Uhlman E Kloke E Kloke P Sheldon E Hoge Alpers B Willman J Rohde M Wagner D Olcott J Haasc P Pam:-ison A lush R Rogers M woerth P D S h lt F St k Karim Van Berg C U Z al eb Rovi l R Diaubaugh 'VI Bxoun M Fricke D Lausten G 'Vlaitm A Gloox Nl Hankr P Gerhold 50 G' Spitz' C' Keatmg' ' e er' L.
