l I Strike Up The Band An increase of four strutting majorettes. Marie Anderson. Natalie Schroen. Martita Howard. and Lois Hasselbach. together with Sandra Sue Welch. as mascot. gave the band much added glamour. The band performed during the halves at all home games and ac- companied the team to Fremont. The band enjoyed a trip to Grand Island to attend their annual Harvest of Harmony. This year the band reached even greater heights as a contest band by receiving a su- perior rating at the district contest at Fremont, The band also gave several concerts through- out the year. Club Preview A Commercial Club has been organized in the Kramer High school commercial depart- ment through the efforts of the advanced short- hand class. The purpose of the club is to pro- mote a better understanding of commercial training and to give the students an oppor- tunity to get acquainted with business prac- tices. Membership is open to commercial majors who have achieved one of the standards as set up by the Gregg Credential System. The officers and the standing committees on membership, program, social. finance and pro- gress will form the functioning branches of the organization.
