KOSTANG ’82 Table of Contents—1 Dedicated to Our Favorite Coon Hunter Mr. Rick Blastick You came to us when we started our most trying years. You taught and coached us through both triumph and tears. We appreciate your honesty and the art of being yourself, We marvel at your abilities, your teaching and special help. We sight your unselfishness and love your friendly smile Yes, it is these things which we will remember for awhile. Sheldon 13 2—Dedication Get on Board Kostang Ark At some point after the beginning, the town fathers looked around Kouts, and saw that young people of Kouts were wanting. They looked around for just the right person to help fill the want. Upon finding Mr. Rommelmann, they called him up and told him to gather up teens and children then put them into a public building called a school which is two stories high, two rooms and a hall wide, and made of brick. The teens and children that Mr. Rommelmann, the principal, was to fill the school would be called students. - Opening—3 And the Ark Rose Up . . . and Up Along with the students, the principal should add to the school an assistant principal, teachers, a trustee, a board, secretaries, and custodians. Of course, there would be more crew members once the priorities were set. And the one-hundred and seventy-seven day journey began ... 4—Opening Students SHARON KAY ATHERTON Doing what you like is freedom; liking what you do is happiness. SHELDON D.
