On June 6, 1977, ground was broken to begin construction on the new addition. As construction carried through the summer, many students were curious and excited about the new happenings. Even in the summer months, the schooi was busy. Students came and went for such activities as drivers' education and summer baseball. Volleyball and Cross Country practices began and before we knew it, the first day of school rolled around. After attending the traditional first day convocation, Kouts High School was once again in full session. 16 - Students Division
