Valparaiso University Physical Education Miss Judy Griffin and Mrs. Lois Wiechmann joined the high school faculty at the start of the second semester. We welcome them and wish to apologize to them for not having their pictures with the other members of the faculty but the faculty pictures had already gone to press. At the 1961 Indiana State Fair, Richard Hall, Vernon Nuest, Tom Sommers, and Larry Nuest and Vo- Ag Instructor, Mr. Lippert, represented our school and this district in the state poultry and egg judging di- vision. This team placed first and went on to further competition at the National Contest at Kansas City, Missouri. We congratulate these state champions and their coach, Mr. Lippert.
