LARRY NUEST is a farmer you know. With his green thumb he'll make any- thing grow. VERNA ODLE seems a shy little lass . . . till she gets in her car and steps on the gas! With OZZ around there's never a lull. Without him, KHS would be dull! Dull! Dull! DEBBIE RHYNARD is little and dark. On the cheering squad she is a vital spark. BOB ROSENBAUM comes next on our list. Now there's a kid you can't pos- sibly miss! CAROL SUE SANDERS is our Yearbook Queen. The boys will all agree she sure is a dream. ANDREA SCHROEDER has dark brown hair. The fellows at IU sure want her there. BUTCH SHEPARD’S eyelashes and curly blonde hair, have made many a young girl stutter and stare. JOYCE SMITH, with her lovely blonde hair, will be a nurse who will make patients stare. MARY SPOHN'S Christmas present sparkles like her eyes. She's so happy she can't see other guys. RAY TEMPLE is editor of this book. We hope he doesn’t give this poem too close a look! ROGER, known as Tiny Timm, is our boy who follows his every whim. And JUDY VOGEL closes our list, for such a sweet kid should never be missed. Our eyes now look to the future, But we leave with a backward glance. We must leave this school, the place so secure, And go forth to a world of chance. CLASS SONG (Gaudeamus Igitur) Now our high school days are through But we'll keep on learning. To KHS we'll all be true But our goals are high, too. We'll go onward, ever onward Till we reach the highest peak But our thought will wander back When it's happiness we seek. CLASS MOTTO Along life's road we conquer life’s problems CLASS COLORS Scarlet Red and White CLASS FLOWER Red and White Carnation
