CLASS POEM Myrna Birky Is blonde and blue-eyed, Her career she cannot decide. Carlyn Cannon is Army bound, There with Ed she will be found. Judi Chael will go to Ball State, We know that there she will rate. Wanda Daumer is not very tall, What she'll do is a question to all, Marilyn Duttlinger is next in line, We hope at Purdue she will do fine. Bennie Edwards is our business boss, Will it be a profit or a loss? Dennis Gesse is our basketball star, We hope in college he does go far. Nila Gesse went to Girls' State. With a high IQ she does rate. Lydia Gingerich works at the grocery store, No wonder the price of food is more. Anna Mae Good is short and neat, What problems in life will she meet? Larry Hamann has dark curly hair, You're liable to find him anywhere. Mary Jane Hurley has marriage in mind, We hope that happiness she will find. John Jarnecke is the farmer of the class, His Hampshire hogs you can't surpass. Jean Krug wants to be a nurse, Will her patients be better or worse? Jerry Lippert has a Chevy brown, Keep out of his way or he'll run you down. Eleanor Miller has a man in hand, Soon she’ll have a wedding band. Keith Nuest has a red and white car, On a gallon of gas it does go far. Karen Pfledderer lives on a farm, She is a girl with lots of charm. Dottie Pullins is our class blonde, Of roller skating she is fond. Tom Redelman some day an actor may be, Watch for him on your TV. Tom Simic is our stockroom boy The little blue wagon is his toy. Tom Sommers is our farm boy, Cattle and hogs are his pride and joy. Betty Struve is our office girl, Some people get her in a whirl. Judy Swing lives near LaCrosse, In her house she’ll be the boss. Joan Taylor drives a Rambler white, Sometimes she passes on the right. Joyce Tucker's jokes are always funny, Do you think they'll ever earn her money? Jim Upton works in the Royal Blue, You never know what he's going to do. Ted Wienke this yearbook did edit, To him we do owe much credit. Leonard Zabella is the hot rod of the class, There's no one that he couldn't pass. That's all of the Class of '61,
