As We Crossed the Threshold of Learning XYe opened the door. climbed the stairs. and walked the halls of KHS together this year. With our hearts bubbling with anticipation and en- thusiasm, we plunged into each new day. Wie thrilled to discover that the geometry proposition we solved together last night was correct: we shared the excitement of try-outs after classes: we all endeavored to perfect that new play the coach showed usp and we blushed to see that special grin from a certain someone. However, there were times that we were somewhat relucf tant to climb those steps. Maybe that exam really had us worried, or perhaps those grade cards would considerably limit our leisure time for the next six weeks. Hut our worries were quickly forgotten with that hearty slap on the back, and obstinate problems deminished before our eyes after talking them over with a friend. Together we accepted the variety of opportunities for growth that KHS offered: and by doing so, we experienced a companionship with teachers and students which gave to each of us knowledge, poise, and the joy of social well being.
