The club members sponsored the Homecoming Dance, and Work Day. The F.H.A. members also participated in District and State Conventions. Dur- ing Thanksgiving and Christmas, members gave bas- kets to needy families. There was a F.H.A. booth at the Mardi Gras, and they also had a bake sale at the F.F.A. B.B.Q.. For a summer project, members of the club made bibs for patients at Desert Manor.

Members participated in local, state, and Chapter public speaking contests, as well as participating in activities that demon- strated good agricultural practice. Some activities that the club attended throughout the year were, being represented at District meetings, state, and National Conventions, and a Field Day. The club had the Annual B.B.O., Ag. Olympics, F.F.A. Ban- quet, and sponsored a school dance. During Christ- mas, members collected canned goods and used toys, then prepared a Christmas basket and distrib- buted them throughout Yuma.

Keynoters is comprised of mu- sicians from BeginningChoir, Con- cert Choir, Advanced Mixed Choir, and the Royalaires. During the year each of these groups held concerts at different times, as well as sales to raise money. This year's sales included the Great Chocolate sale of crunchy choco late candy. The Keynoters got off to a dif- ferent start this year. The reason was the initiation ofa new direc- tor, Mr. Frank Durham.
