Anchor club carries the weight Anchor club associated with many activities this year. The club members sold cokes at the A.W.C. football games to raise money for Boy's Club. They also made stockings, for welfare recip- iants, for Christmas as well as their usual food baskets for both Christmas and Thanksgiving. A new activity came into their club this yearg sponsoring a fifty dol lar scholarship. They also do- nated many dollars to the fund- raising of the new kidney ma- chine for Desert Nlanor. They also sponsored a dance during the year. 1. The pur- pose of G.A.A. is to promote in- tramural and extramural athletic program for Kofa High School girls, to promote sportsmanship and to support school spirit through active support of all school activities. G.A.A. sponsors an annual Mother-Daughter Ban- quet, held the first week in May. Three awards were handed out for the most outstanding mem- bers.

The club consists of sophomores, juniors, and seniors. This fall, the club had a membership drive. The club also sold cokes at all home football games to raise money. This year, S50 was donated to the Yuma Chapter ofthe Arizona Kidney Foundation. At Thanks- giving, a basket containing can- ned goods and a turkey was given to a needy family. They also sponsored the Christmas Dance.
