Members also attended the Fall Regional Leadership Conference in Phoenix, and the Winter Con- ference and the National Confer- erence held in Atlantic City. Dur- ing the Christmas season mem- bers collected canned goods. Members at- tended the Fall Leadership Con- ference in October and later on in the year attended the State Convention at A.S.U., in which members competed in different business fields. For fund-raising activities the club held a bake sale and sponsored the Ugly Man Dance. This year, Kofa's chapter con- sisted of eight different clubs. They elected Richard Landin as their chapter President, Kent Rautenberg, Vice President, Joy Labistre, Secretary, Maria Mar- tinez, Treasurerg Dora Lee Fike, Historian, and Mike Golden, Par- liamentarian. ln early October Sandy Foster was elected their Chapter Sweetheart. The Fall Conference on Oct. 20-21 found eight Kofa VICA members running for state office. Two were elected to state offices. They were Marie Thomas-Region 1 Vice President, and Sandy Fos- ter-State Sweetheart. On November 2, they installed their officers as well as the of- ficers from Antelope.
