NI C-rs' Ellen Saxe measures the height of 'ndv K - ., grownllfdd, and exclaims, IVly, how yolyve A-art its BOOKSTOR LIBRARY The Library at Kofa was di- rected by lVlrs. Edlund who was assisted by lVlrs. Tuttle. The li- brary h el d twenty thousand bpoks and one hundred maga- zines. For the teachers there was a professional collection of teach- ing aids, and for the students there was a new collection of paperbacks. BOOKSTORE The Kofa High School Book- store was a very familiar place to all the Kings. Students were able to purchase books and necessary supplies at the bookstore. Re- turning for a second year as manager was Terry J. Beckett. Her most important job was or- dering all the text books for the year. Her other tasks included taking care of club deposits and receipts, an d ordering various school magazines. NURSE Always on call to help a Kofa student was lVlrs. Ellen Saxe, the school nurse. Besides the every day care of the students lVlrs. Saxe administered vision, hear- ing, and tuberculin skin tests. Each day an average of thirty five students required Some TVD9 of medical assistance from lVlrs. Saxe which made for a busy first year at Kofa. She was also club sponsor for the Future Nurses.
