PEP CLUB Pep Club consisted of an en- thusiastic group of girls working together to promote excitement and spirit throughout Kofa. This year Pep Club sat in their own section in K o f a ' s Memorial Stadium. These young girls were much more than just a pep squad to Kofa students. They brightened the halls on an ordinary school day, encouraged freshmen with their cheerful smiles, envolved the sophomores with hand jives, gave a reflection of three spirit filled years to the juniors, and created a sensation of majesty for the seniors. T h e i r main money making projects were sell- ing shakers to students and sell- ing cokes at home games. These peppy girls also sponsored the annual Mardi G r a s Dance, honoring the king and queen. Mi -be LETTERMAN These boys from nine inter- scholastic co m pet i tive sports worked together t o promote sportsmanship and athletic parti- cipation among the entire stu- dent body. To become a Letterman, one is required to earn a letter in a varsity sport at Kofa. As thousands of spirited Kings thronged to home football games, the Letterman sold pro- grams which contained pictures of the players. The boys helped on projects in benefitting the Athletic Program by making don- ations to the improvements of them. ORGANIZATIONS 97
