NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY Scholarship is the first word for those who desire membership in this society. Members must maintain at least a 2 average. The club sponsors the annual Book Fair, poster parties, bake sales' and a booth at the Mardi Gras. The president of this honor organization was Guadalupe Lomeli and the sponsor was Mr. Mann and Mr. Pallack. cholastic Students join QUILL 85 SCROLL One semester of experience on the annual or newspaper staff entitles you to membership in Quill 81 Scroll. This is an honorary society highly acclaimed for its promotion of jour- nalism. National Newspaper Week was sponsored by Quill 85 Scroll. During this week many members tried to inspire the ideals of a free press in students interested in attending the Arizona Interscholastic Press Association Workshop. The sponsors for Quill 85 Scroll were Mr. Richardson and Mr. Ochoa. The club presi- dent was Terri Anderson. Mr. Richardson and two club members review the fine points of journalism. Donkefsh- 5' Sn' Key Club Key Club is well known at Kofa for it's service to the school and community. This year Key donated a tremendous flag to Kofa. The U.S. Flag now hangs in the gym as a symbol of patriotism. As a service Key supplies school books to students who can not afford to buy them. The out dated books are donated 4 to less fortunate schools. The club also g sponsors many school activities. WM Lv' The club sponsors are Mr. Cutrules and Mr. Blount.
