Kofa Pep CIub's voice is Pep Club Pep Club's goal is to promote spirit for our athletic teams. Meetings are held every Monday before a home game. This is Where the Pepsters hand jives are learned. At any of the Kings home games the loudest voices can be heard from Pep Club's special roped off section. The most spirited club on campus also serves Kofa by the menia.l tasks done by prospective mem- bers and the tasks of the more talented upper- classmen. Pep Club wraps goal posts, sells cokes, and holds bake sales, and makes posters, Pep Club sponsors the Mardi Gras Dance and the Annual Powder Puff softball game. Chess Club members met every other week to play chess and to challenge other chess clubs such as Yuma and A.W.C. Funds were raised through such activities as bake sales and car washes to undertake an out of town trip to Tuscon to play other select teams. They also supported Kofa through poster parties and other spirit activi- ties. David Davis is the president, and the sponsor is Mr. Cutrules.
