The activities this year included bake sales, es, and other money making projects. Part of this money financed trips to State and onventions and supported a Greek car wash National C foster child. As always, Latin Club held a slave auction for new members. This was climaxed by a Saturnalia, annual Roman banquet. French club activi- ties for this year included bake sales, poster parties, a booth at the Mardi Gras, and singing French carols during Christ- mas season. For initiation, new members dressed as famous Frenchmen and later were treated to a banquet by old members at Sir Georges. French club receives leadership from President Gloria Woon and from their sponsor, Mrs. Carver. Requirements for membership in this club were to be a student taking Spanish and to write a letter in Spanish expressing your desire tojoin. Members actively enjoyed a trip to San Luis, an annual picnic, and a sand dunes party. To raise fuI1dS for their activities the club sponsored car washes, bake sales, and a booth at the Mardi Gras.
