But it wasn't long however before things began to shape up and the staff went back to work Once more. Pictures were being clipped, layouts were being made, receipt books were being filled, and the light in the Annual burned long 'after 3:00 P. M. As money making projects, aside from advertising and book sales, they sold seat cushions and had bake sales. With the faithful supervision of Mr. Prather and the ambition of the staff, we can rightfully say that the 54 K is the best yet. Larry Bledsoe has gone to California to join his parents. The Helland girls,Donna and Sandra, moved to Cal- ifornia about two months ago, but are back in KHS once again. Loretta Spaur, a fresh- man, and Clara Andrews, a sophomore, both received four A's on their report cards. Not to be outdone, George Watson, a junior, captured five. Ask any senior what he or she thinks of socialized medicine. You'l1 get an answer, pro or con. They have been giving reports in modern problems. The Knoxville Teachers Association had a potluck at their January 27 meet- ing. Since the meeting was cducational, Mr. Kolk ar- ranged for Mr. W. Henry Galbreth as the 'guest speaker. The meeting was hehe in the high school w'tn the junior high teachers in charge. A comptometer was dem- onstrated to the advanced typing class January 27. One, two, three, get set go! ! ! !!
