Hi-Y, F.F.A., F.H.A., and G.A.A. were but a 'few of the activities we participated in. For those who enjoy +he finer arts +here was band and vocal. Bofh boas+ed a large mem- bership of falenfed sophomores. Also, +wo sophomores were chosen +o help publish the K of '49. We were nor left in lhe dusf in afhlefics, either. One boy, who acquired a first +eam posifion in football, and ano+her, skilled in kicking, received a lelter for fhe playing. Basketball was another favorite sporf of lhe sophomores Bofh girls and boys excelled in l'he'r res'Jec'hve reams Our boys again showed 'their skill in frack and baseball. Two sophomores having first team posilions in baseball and ano'l'her boy capturing honors in lrack. Although both, fhe boys' feam and fhe girls' feam received 'third place in fhe infer- class tournament, +he other classes had fo really fight to bear us. Now the year is gone!
