SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In September, l95h, twenty eight students enrolled in the Fresh an class of Knox Memorial Central School. we elected Sallie Exford, Class President, Mary Ann Guiles, Vice-president, Richard Hanner, Secretary, and Gary Coloton, Treasurer. Mr. Schwartz was elected our Class Advisor. we raised some money by sponsoring fudge sales. In September, 1955, there were only twenty five students in our class ichard Harmer was elected class President, Gary Coloton, Vice president, John owne, Secretary, and Patricia McCormick, Treasurer We elected Mr Winter our Advisor With one year of high school behind us, we were fairly well acclimated o the routine of high school life Therefore, we were able to concentrate more on raising money for our Senior trip we sponsored fudge sales and a movie The next year, our class had diminished to twenty one members we held class elections, and Patricia McCormick was elected President, Sallie Exford, Vice president, Anna Bullock, Secretary, and Gail Hatch, Treasurer Mr Schwartz was again elected as our Advisor We were very thrilled in the Spring of '57 when we received our class rings Our class put on the Junior-Senior Pro and raised money y sponsoring more fudge sales and movies With the arrival of September, 1957, our long awaited Senior year became reality Twenty two students re ained in our class Our biggest goal, aside rom graduating in June, was raising enough money to go on a trip to New York City in May we started immediately to raise money we sold magazine subscriptions, stationery, jello, Christmas cards, taffy and garden seeds we also sponsored fudge sales, movies and record hops Our class officers were Gary Coloton, President atricia McCormick, Vice president, Anna Bullock, Secretary, and Gail Hatch, Treas arer We elected Mr Constantine as our Class Advisor Our Senior play is called 'Rest Assured The last four years have been very enjoyable and profitable for us e wish to thank everyone who has encouraged and guided us through these years e sincerely hope and pray that we can prove worthy of this assistance by beco ing successful citizens in our future years. 2 N513 f 5 fs A W i Xx 'fx XAN.f'QJf z NN.f'- .Q-4515-,,.-,l Wil 1 fn' X X x f R. - - . . SENIOR CLASS WILL I, Alice Hebb, leave to Winston Gotham my speed in typing and the ability to type without looking at the keys. It will work yet, Winston. I, Leo Laddison, at the end of my Senior year have nothing to leave to anyone. I, Russell Tuttle, being of sound mind, leave my seat in English class to anyone who likes good jokes. I, Gail Vanwald, leave my hitch-hiking ability to anyone needing it. I, Gail Jean Hatch, leave my job as Senior class treasurer, my nickname of nScaley Gaileyu, and my ability to be the youngest one in the class to Charlie Foster. I hope you put them to better use than I did, Charlie, and knowing you I think you will. I, Joe Dumoulin, leave my seat in Mr. Wiese's office to anyone who has the physical ability to keep it warm, and try to be a better boy than I was. I, Sally Typhair, leave to Charlie Ritz my height Good luck with it Charlie I, Sallie A Exford, leave to Jerry McCarty my ways of getting home after the basketball games You're always sure of getting there, but the way back is sometimes tough, Jerry I, Beverly Ann White, leave to my brother, Johnny, my ability to stay out of trouble This would be quite a change, John, and at the rate you are going you certainly need someone's ability I, Anna Lee Bullock, leave my ability to flirt to Bob Johnson. At the rate you are going now, Bob, you don't need my flirty ways I, Frederick Whitmarsh, leave to Art Whitmarsh, my seat in the Senior class Take good care of it, Art, because our brother, Bill, might want it Robert Church, leave to Winston Gotham my respected seat in the Senior class. Good luck! and get away game to Dick Charles Everett with it Fichard Enslow Taylor, leave Colton, leave to anyone who Harmer, leave my troubles to anyone who needs them my ability to read magazines in Mr Tiel's study hall wants it my ability to come to school the next day after a ball Judy Towne, leave to my brother, Ronnie, my ability to get through school without doing homework You've got a good system started, Ronnie I, Pat McCormick, leave to my car It will be a few years before you do and don't smash anybody's car like I I, Frederick Whiteford, leave Bob Todd Don't try it too often, Bob I, Russell McEwen, leave to Jerry McCarty, my seat beside Viv Sharpstene in band. Better take lessons on the side Carol You're off to a bad start sister, Bonnie, my ability to smash my brother's get your license, Bonnie, but watch out when you nw'ability to skip school and get caught to You might not last any longer than I did I, Gary Coloton, leave my bass drum to anyone who can't read music and wants to play in the band.
