JUNIOR: HIGH FOOTBALL .Greypups Defeat Monday, 22-14 Kn tx C'ity's Junior High Mighty Fourteen defeated lvl'.nday's Junior High team Tuesday night 22-14. Munday made the first score early ln the first quarter and led 8-0 and promptly recovered 'a KC fumble to regain posses- sion of the ball on the 50. Three plays later, Greypup back Ron- ald Curd intercepted a pass and carried the ball back to Mun- day's 30. Two plays later, Curd went over lor the TD and then ran the extra points and the game was tied 8-8 at halftime. Melvin Clay made the 'Pups second score of the evening ear- ly ln the thlrd quarter and Ron- ald Curd carried the ball for extra points and the Pups led 16-8. ' In the last quarter both Mun- day and Knox City scored, with Curd again carrying the ball' for the Pups, and the game ended Knox 22, and Munday 14. This was the Pups first win of the season, having been defeat- ed by Crowell and Paducah.
