Administration William R. Jones, Superintendent, District 5-J; John R. Johnson, Principal, Knappa High School; George Long, Ass't Supt. , Dist. 5-J Dear Students: As the year 1966-1967 draws to a close, in my mind I ponder over the year’s happenings. Most of the memories I have are pleasant but, just as in life, everything has not gone just as we planned it and we have had to learn to take the bitter with the sweet. This is good as it helps to mold our character and makes us what we are. It is through these experiences that we acquire the values and qualities, such as honesty, perseverance, courage, and respect, that are so necessary for success. It is my desire to see that each of you who attend Knappa High School will be a better student when you leave than when you first came. Also, that the school will be better because you were here. Remember, education does not end with high school. It is something that should continue on for the rest of your life, whether in school or out. Make your decisions wisely as each one will have an effect on you throughout life. May I wish for each of you the happiness and success in life for which you all seek. JOHN R. JOHNSON, Principal 59
