The chorus class, which met daily dur¬ ing second period, participated in a student assembly, the Christmas program and the spring concert. They also sang Christmas carols for the high school and grade school students. At the spring music contest in Astoria, the chorus received a rating of a 2+. Appearing as soloists with the group were Craig Bersagel, Carl Salo, and Janice Buck¬ ner. 53

4 This year's Rally Squads have put in many long months of hard work and much time and effort to create a very enthusiastic backing for our teams. They planned amusing skits and inter¬ esting pep assemblies which were pres¬ ented each week. The Rally Squads at¬ tended all games and kept the spirit of the rooting section high. In June, our Varsity and Pepster squads attended Rally and Pom Pon Clinic at Lewis and Clark College.
