GAA SLAVE DAY Knappa’s GAA this year coasted one of the largest memberships in its history. The group took several bowling trips to Astoria. Many of the club's mem¬ bers received their GAA letters by actively partici¬ pating in various sports and earning the required points. 45

Harny-President A field trip, annual candy sale, a pizza dinner, and an exotic food meeting were some of the highlights of the year’s activities of the Science Club. The field trip took the club to a deep sea aquarium in Newport, and all other activities took place in the school. At a regular meeting, such dubious delicacies as octopus, eel, and reindeer meat were eaten by members. Several local industries provided exhibits at the March Science Fair. A tea, honoring gold award winners, closed the year.
