Baccalaureate Baccalaureate services for the 1967 graduating class took place in the high school gymnasium Sunday, May 21 at 2 p. m. Pastor Dan Nolta gave the baccalaureate sermon and Reverend C. J. Medearies gave the invocation and benediction. Carl Salo sang He for the services and Rollin Sollars played the processional and recessional. A tea in the Home Economics room, where coffee, punch and cake were served, followed. After the program, the seniors went to the Sunset Empire Room in Astoria for their Senior Banquet. 10

Spring Concert Director Jim Kreck and The Notables playing for Spring Concert Dance. Notables, featured attraction of the Spring Concert and Dance. People of the community dancing to the sound of The Notables. Chorus performing novelty number. A Spring Concert and Dance was held in the high school gymnasium, Friday, May 12, at 8 p.m. Per¬ forming in the concert were the high school chorus, band, and girls' and boys’ ensembles. The much ac¬ claimed Gresham High School stage band, The Not¬ ables, were guest entertainers. Included in the evening was a duet sung by Thea Dybvik and Craig Bersagel. A guest musician, Mr. Dick Blakely, accompanied by the Gresham and Knappa high school bands, performed an amusing violin solo, A Concerto for a One-Armed Paper Hanger. The final numbers in the program were played by a combination of the Gresham High School and Knappa High School and Grade School bands. Music for the dance which followed .was provided by The Notables.
