A Person, cz Place, or an Experience 1 lt's really not difficult. r K Don't get too much. Sweetheart queen candidates await decision.' Some of The Puzzle Pieces Are Mmmmrn, smells good The three R's have been expanded to include everything from baking a cake to discovering the art of applying make-up for the class play. Span ish students painstakingly learn the use of a new language, while in an adjoinging room other stu- dents learn the safe way of driving. Windows are hurriedly flung open as beginning chemists dis- cover the characteristic odor of sulfur. Others pour over their books as a snap course proves not to be a cinch. Interesting, isn't it? P? Y T- No doubt constant practice and patience are two of the most valuable characteristics which a person or a group may possess. A beginning typist has doubt of ever being able to type over 20 words a minute, but before long he has reached 30 and is steadily increasing. The newspaper staff practice looking for news and happenings of interest and radio-club members patiently test equipment. Seniors rehearse speeches and musicians put in hours of practice before performances, bus-drivers IUUSI also learn the meaning of patience and prac- tice. ln fact, they need an abundant supply.
