The Klein Chapter National Honor Society is an honorary organiza- tion whose main purpose is to recognize outstanding students. These students were chosen by their teachers, and membership was acquired on the basis of scholarship, leadership, character, and participation. The main activity this year was the induction of 89 new members on January 25th. Other activities included the running ofthe sclzool store, and additional money went toward a scholarship given to one of the members. 4,3 When The Talked, l People Listened l Between taking a swim in San Antonio and playing touch football in the park, the Klein Speech Squad attended several tournaments and brought home more trophies than ever before. The club also reversed roles by holding the Klein Speech Tournament in January where they handea' out tlze troplzies instead of bringing them home.
