They Were Small But Mightj With five meets to their Credit, the Bo-v's Junior Var- , b' N sity track team, led by C oaelz Ray Danielson, had a very fine year. The team was small because many of the F members also worked with the Varsity team, J. V track worked as a hziildirzg block for the upcoming Varsity year. Super Sophs Throttle Their Opponents Coach Ilerh Allen had high hopes for his sophonzore team this year, and he felt that an undefeated season was not out ofthe qziestion, His boys lived up to his expecta- tions with a near-perfect 8-2 record, The sophomores were heaten by their own mistakes in a heartbreaking 7-3 loss to Conroe and a I5-I2 loss at the hands ofMenzorial. A devastating offense and a stifling defense characterized the '78 Klein sophomorefootball tealll, They whipped Cy-Fair 21-0, Cvpress Creek 14-0, and blasted Jersey Village 53-0.
