Mud Did ot Deter Them Lori Lemons and Madeline Vela lead the girls, On a 2-Mile course, not too many people can even jinish, yet KHS' Cross Country teams did. Coaching both the girls and boys teams, Andy Ferrera molded an exciting team. The girls only had six members, yet they managed a superb season. The boys had a returning state-ranked runner in Jerry LaBonte' to lead tlzem to a good season. Over land tlzat proved to be very muddy this year, they made iz season tlzat the team will not soon forget. What with all of the construction going on, it was not exactly easy to practice on the roads around the campus, thus proving what a brave group ofrunners these people were. .. ,-ali ling? ks' ' .A ' 'f ' wma:-..
