This year's goal was promoting interest in community projects. lVlem- bers attended the Area Ill meeting in Dallas. They Earn While They Learn Barbecues, field events, and an Employer Recog- nition Banquet in the spring are a few of the many activities of the CVAE-Coop. Members visited several institutions where they viewed the voca- tional facilities. They went to North Harris County College, Gerlands, Foley's, and other industries. Students work to obtain competence in their chosen occupation. They have the future in mind and are training for it novv. Club sponsor is Mrs. Ann Kretsinger. Holiday Spirit Spread By FHA II Individual growth through Encounter and community growth through service projects were the goals of FHA ll. Members attended the state meeting in Dallas. A Christmas party vvas given for the members of TARS complete with Santa Claus, old-fashioned caroling, and the exchange of gitts.
