OEA Helps the Needy Giving food to the needy during Christmas and Thanksgiv- ing holidays, decorating Easter eggs for children in hospitals, and going to area, state, and national contests occupied the efforts of the Office Education Association students this year. After a full morning schedule of school, senior OEA students held clerical and secretarial positions in office jobs, while junior OEA students prepared for the future in afternoon classes. 72 Organizations FFA Holds the Key The Future Farmers of America is an important club vital for the continued future production of food which feeds America and many people throughout the vvorld. The Project Shovv and Area 3 Judging Contest vvere held this year in spring. At this time animals were judged and an auction held. Members vvere active in all areas of food and animal production. At Christmas time FFA members held their yearly fruit sale. They also attended the Houston Livestock Show. Sponsors of the club are Don Spell, Lynn Wilson, Ron Luco, and Pat Wallace.
