There Moy Be ci Doctor in the House To be a doctor, nurse, or veterinarian is the question that some of the Medical Career Club members ask themselves. But these are only a few of the professions in the medical field. This year's Medical Careers Club members learned about different areas of medicine and its related fields. Club members visited Shriners Burn Institute, Texas A84M College of Veterinary Medicine, and the Museum of Medical Science. In February they had the experience of watching open heart surgery. Like good samaritans, the club had a Christmas party for orphans at the Depelchin Faith Home. Playing ci Higher Game The Fellowship of Christian Athletes attended confer- ences at Oral Roberts University, Estes Park, Colorado, and the University of Arkansas. A Basketball lVlarathon in which pro athletes contributed their time was held in lVlarch. The FCA club confronts coaches and athletes with the challenge of following Jesus Christ and leading others to him through their athletic endeavors. Boy officers of the club are: Brian Edwards, Joey Davis, Lamont Cline, and Chris Lancaster. Girl officers are: Pat Roberts, Linda Bailey, Kathy lVlulac, and Lisa Washburn. Joe Dickerson, Wilbur Aylor, and Peggy Boswell are sponsors of the group.
