Leaders Tackle School Problems Very few students realize the effectiveness of student govern ment. The Student Council is a service organization designed for the benefit of the student body where many accomplish ments are made behind the scenes that are not apparent to the student body. Officers give up lunch periods, study halls and recreation time in order to achieve their goals. Spon- soring dances, participating in the Good Sportsmanship League, and motivating class spirit are just a few of the projects into which they put their efforts. The officers attended a camp in Colorado to gather new ideas for an efficient and productive Student Council. Their sponsor is Mrs. Doris Fricke. 'T .3 Top: You mean they are going to initiate us?
