Electives Expand Imagination Academic programs range from the mastery of the English language to studying the action of ocean vvaves. Klein's curriculum provides a variety of subjects for a student to pursue in high school. The curriculum is aimed at equip- ping the student for the future. This includes an under- standing of the basics. English, math, science, and history are stressed and a number of these courses are required. When all the requirements have been met, hovvever, students can continue on a higher level and branch out in vvorthvvhile electives. English l V, calculus, and physics are a few of the challenges offered. Through the good shovving of students in these classes it is evident that Klein students are excelling in a program which is expanding every year. l 3 4 Basics Build o Solid Foundation These days most schools would like to have the outstand- ing academic reputation which Klein enjoys. lt was not earned by chance. The philosophy of the district has been to implement a strong emphasis on basics as well as offer- ing a variety of courses vvhich were developed to benefit all students. When the yearly moans and groans from students vvriting research papers are heard, it is music to the ears of the public vvhich deplores the poor vvriting skills of today's student. l t is impossible to count the number of students vvho return to thank the school and administration for giving them a good foundation. Students found the library a good source of information.
